Kalie Pierce

Hi! My name is Kalie (KAY-Lee) Pierce.

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Colgate University. I am a political economist whose work focuses on polarization and discrimination. My job market paper is about the politicization of U.S. school board elections and its effects on public school enrollment. ​

I am passionate about teaching foundational economics courses, history of economic thought, economics of discrimination, and quantitative reasoning more generally.
